  Grouping layers allows you to place different objects in your project inside a single container called a group folder. The group folder can have actions applied to the group so that all of the objects inside the group act as one. This is a huge time saver that gives you unbelievable control over your objects.

Groups can be used to clip objects or they can be used as simple containers. The objects can then move into the scene from outside the clipped area and become visible as they enter the area defined by the group box.
